The Managing Council of State Fund “Agriculture” decided at its regular session to grant 275 295 000 intended resource for the rural producers for 2006 year under The National lines for financing


In accordance with the Strategy for finance support and the Agricultural Report for 2006, there are predicted 190 million leva for long-term investment credits, as 100 million of them the Fund will receive as transfer from the State Budget and 90 million will be ensured by the expected during the year paid off loans from debtors of State Fund “Agriculture”.
Other 60 million leva would be granted for current subsidies, but for capital subsidies are intended 12 795 000 leva. They will cover the special preferences for agricultural producer of non-profitable areas under different regional programs. For temporary financial support are intended other 12 500 000 leva.
The Managing Council of State Fund “Agriculture” approves the accepted changes from the Monitoring Committee, connected with corrections of the financial tables of particular Measures under SAPARD program. The intended means by EU for Bulgaria for 2006 year are increased from 74 640 000 to 82 440 000 euro. The increase is allocated in proportions as follow:

  • 30 % for Measure 1.1. “Investments in Agricultural Holdings” in sectors “Milk and Diary Production”, “Meat and Meat Producing”, “Orchards and vines” and “Eggs and Eggs products”;
  • 30 % for Measure 1.2 “Improving the processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products”;
  • 20 % for Measure 2.2. “Renovation and Development of Villages, protection and Conservation of the Rural Heritage and Cultural Traditions”;
  • 20 % for Measure 2.3. “Development and Improvement of the Rural Infrastructure”;
    For sector “Eggs and Eggs Products” is determined budget at size 5 664 000 euro.
    The amount of the accumulated rate at the Euro account under SAPARD for the period from 01.06.2004 to 30.11.2005 is 167 044.13 euro. It will be spent for projects under Measure 3.1. “Improvement of Vocational Training”.
